Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, I moved to Perth, Western Australia, when I was six years old. English has always been my first language despite coming from a foreign country. To speak fluently and correct English back there was considered an outstanding quality. After school, I was even sent to elocution and grammar classes to ensure my written and spoken words were perfect.

After living in Australia for so long, I can gladly say I have unlearned all of that and now love to speak and write with greater freedom, something this wonderful country has always been a symbol of to me.

My name is Dayan Muthukumar, and I love to express myself with words. Telling stories and sparking imaginations is something I feel blessed to be able to do. I research and write content for websites, email newsletters, remix existing content to make it sparkle and help to define brand identity. Outside of this, I am a fragrance enthusiast, a die-hard Los Angeles Laker fan and an insatiable foodie.
