I first started out doing photography in year 10 in high school. But it wasn't till I left high school that I made myself an alternative Instagram account that I started using my phone as my primary camera. A little further on, I bought my first camera, and I started taking some shots but wasn't getting very far as I knew nothing.
I then signed up for a course to get my skills more adapted. Although I tried, the path I found became too overwhelming, so I quit. Towards a year on, I was with a job provider who got me in contact with a lovely lady who knew all about photography. She took me on as her pupil, and she became my mentor. We spent a few weeks together, and I learnt the basics of photography.
As time went on, I eventually upgraded my camera. I started my own photography business, and now I am creating images. I'm glad to say I'm proud to call mine. I was capturing our lovely coastline, whether on the ground with my camera or above flying my drone. Photography is my passion and career and a considerable part of my life. I don't know where I'd be without it.
