Welcome, my name is Cassandra. I am a photographer based in Perth, Western Australia. I've loved photography from a very young age. The idea that you can capture a moment in time that would otherwise be lost forever and then share it with others has always fascinated me.

In 2014 I bought my first DSLR and slowly upgraded over the years to my current camera, the Canon 5D Mk4. I started watching many YouTube videos, then going out and shooting landscapes, experimenting with settings until I liked what I saw.

After a bit of practice, I started dabbling in portraiture and successfully applied for a role as a second shooter with a fantastic wedding photographer. I learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed it, but after a year, I felt something was missing. So, I decided to focus on my real passion…. landscape photography.

Nothing soothes my soul or calms me more than being down at the beach, water at my feet, camera in hand. So, when someone says to me, 'Cass, this image is so calming', this motivates me and makes me passionate about what I do. The fact that I get to show off our wonderful country is a bonus.
