During my high school years, I took on the subject of photography. It was a time of camera film and darkroom development that helped develop my love for the art of photography. As technology advanced, I became actively involved in tracking the weather and storms via the internet became possible. It was a natural progression to add photography and storm-chasing to the mix.
Although based in Darwin, the capital city of the Northern Territory of Australia, I like to spend time at my rural property at Dundee Beach, hence my nickname Dundee Damo. Today, after more than 20 years in business, I'm now semi-retired, which allows me to concentrate more on my family, photography, cars, and the gym.
My photography focuses primarily on storm photography but has also expanded to landscape and other subjects as I challenge my limits and equipment.
