Hi. I’m Merryn, also known to friends and colleagues as Mezza – or Mez. To me, photography is like communicating without words. A single image cannot only tell a story, and it also can capture emotion and mood. Though I have always been interested in photography and have been fascinated by the story an image can tell, I only commenced my photographic journey around 20 years ago.

I don’t have a particular subject or photography style, although I tend toward capturing landscapes more than anything else. I also like bridges, wooden structures, clouds and wildflowers as subjects. For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in writing, and the art of photography married this hobby perfectly. My late husband and I were lucky enough to see a lot of this beautiful country by 4wd, and he encouraged me to document our trips in a travel blog. The bonus of always having my camera with me allowed memories to be captured to share with others. I like my audience to see what I see as I see it.
