Jezzine Barracks(Garabarra) is located in Townsville, Australia. It was established in 1885 and is currently used by the Australian Army. The barracks are named after Major General Sir William Jezzine, who served in the British Army during the Crimean War and was later Governor of Gibraltar. The Jezzine Barracks is home to several units, including the 3rd Brigade, the 8th/12th Royal Australian Regiment, and the School of Infantry. The Jezzine Barracks also has a museum that is open to the public.

The Jezzine Barracks was the site of a significant battle during World War II when Australian and American forces defeated the Japanese in the Battle of Jezzine. The base was decommissioned in 1946 but reopened in 2010 as a training facility for the Australian Defence Force. The site was selected in 1901 due to its proximity to the port of Townsville and its high elevation, which provided good views over the town and surrounding area. Construction of the barracks commenced in 1903 and was completed by 1906. The barracks were named after Lieutenant General Sir John Chetwode, 1st Baron Chetwode, who served as Commander-in-Chief of India from 1899 to 1904.

During World War II, Jezzine Barracks was occupied by Australian, British and US forces. Jezzine Barracks has been home to the Australian Army's 3rd Brigade since 1997 and has undergone a 600 million dollar redevelopment. The Jezzine precinct is a crucial part of Townsville's CBD revitalisation. The precinct will provide a new home for the Australian Army's 3rd Brigade and new retail, office and residential space.
