Hi there, I'm Prowd from Thailand (pronounced as 'proud' but with 'w') - I've always had a passion for travelling and sharing travel tips and stories, mainly because I'm an LGBTQIA+ person. Before the pandemic hit, I worked as a tourist guide in Thailand for almost three years. In the midst of that, I was writing travel guides for my former tour operating company - this was how I could express my love for travelling through words and started my career as a content writer and content creator with a Singapore-based company.

While being stuck in Thailand and not being able to travel at all for two years, I had the desire to travel. So I relocated to Singapore from Thailand because I couldn't help the fact that I had an immense desire to at least live abroad for once in my life - unfortunately, not many people from the country have enough resources to move by themselves. I wish every person from all kinds of economic and cultural backgrounds are free to move wherever they want to. So, I wanted to be one of those to prove that people who are from third-world countries can do this kind of thing, too, especially since I'm an LGBTQIA+ person. I believe that the world is smaller than we think due to language, cultural similarities, the internet, and food!
