I am from Sweden, a small town in the south called Simrishamn (900 years old 2022). Born in 1962 and raised and still in the same place. Living in this small beautiful town with nature and the sea around the corner is a privilege, and I think this was what attracted me to photography. My photography is a hobby, so I never plan when I take my camera with me. I take photos of what catches my eye at the moment. That is what makes it so fun! Travelling is also something I enjoy doing, and it doesn't have to be lengthy trips abroad, and it could just be short ones in Sweden. There is always something new to see.
Besides photography, I also love my dog, a German Sheppard 'Cayenne' that I am training in tracking and obedience. Travel to New Zealand has always been a dream, and when I started with genealogy, I, by chance, found my extended lost relatives there. My grandmother's uncle stayed there in 1880 and never came home again. So I have been down twice now, and I always long to get back. It feels like home. We say here that if you want to travel as far away from Sweden as you can go to NZ, and if you're going to go further away, you are on your way home again.
